Lonan House enjoys a glorious Scottish setting with stunning views to Ben Cruachan, Argyll’s highest mountain. Designed by Sir Robert Lorimer and built in 1906, this impressive Edwardian mansion is full of romantic highland character and retains many of its original Arts & Crafts features.
This fabulous large holiday house is made up of 6 individual suites which can be booked together to accommodate “The Grand Gathering” of up to 18 guests making it ideal for multiple families, special occasions and groups of friends. Each apartment is beautifully presented with its own fully equipped kitchen, stylish bathroom and deep comfortable sofas set around a wood burning stove.
All nine bedrooms are luxuriously furnished with sumptuous mattresses and fine linen. The original large windows look out over the surrounding garden, and many enjoy fabulous views of Ben Cruachan.
Our kitchens are fully fitted offering everything you would need for a relaxed holiday, including a full-sized dishwasher, induction hob, fridge/freezer and washing machine.
After a day out and about enjoying this wonderful area of Argyll, all 18 guests can come together and enjoy memorable holiday dinners in the large dining area situated in the spacious ground floor Lorimer Suite.
